Free Time? Is It A Side Hustle? Really, What Do You Do?

What I Do

I’ve been thinking a lot about how I spend my time. Do I spend my time surfing the web, playing video games, or working a side hustle? Lately I’ve become comfortable giving up some of my limited leisure time and working on projects. Several days this last week I came home from work, which for me is 1 AM, and I spent an hour or so on my gaming website. I sorted through all my Magic cards, checking prices and listing cards that cost $5 or more.

Along with listing cards I’m trying to get really focused on my niche, gaming. Learning what I can from blogs like MTG Fast Finanace and Alpha Investments. Learning how they speculate on cards and how the flow of the Magic card market goes.  If I use my spare hours properly I should be able to make at least a few thousand extra dollars each year. I think it’s an achievable goal!

What You Do

What do you do as a side hustle? If you don’t have one, why not? The only answer I will not accept is “I don’t have time,” that isn’t an answer, it’s an EXCUSE! Unless your primary job takes 80+ hours a week, you’ve got time. There is 15- 17 workable hours in a day. Now, don’t get me wrong I’m not saying you should work for 15 hours and I’m sure as heck not saying I work for 15 hours a day but if you can muster 2 hours an evening after your 9-5, you’ll see results.

That is where my head is at these days. Focusing on my work and putting in a few hours a few days a week. I think you can to! If you don’t want to, that’s fine but don’t complain about your situation if you’re wasting your time on Netflix.
